Hour one: Brother Wolf Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) organization funded exclusively by grants and the generous donations of the citizens of Western North Carolina. We are the area’s largest no-kill shelter and adoption center and a proud member of the Animal Coalition of Buncombe County. The Animal Coalition was formed to help reduce the high kill rate in our area. From 2010 to 2011, we have seen the kill rate at our local public taxpayer-funded facility drop from 50% to 25%.
