1. Microsoft Makes it Official! Xbox one Release Date and Final Tweaks
a. Launch date—November 22nd, one week after than PS4. Too late, or perfect timing?
b. Despite retractions, MS assures all Xbox models come with Kinect MANDATORY… Why make it mandatory if the hardware itself is not?
c. Launch window: Who has advantage?
d. So after everything that’s been said, is a $499 Xbox worth it? Better than a PS4? Correct Price?

2. The TV Just isn’t Enough: The Second Screen Revolution
a. Nintendo: DS handheld has been leading the beginning, now Wii U brings in 2nd screen and multimedia interfacing. Competitor, or too late to the party?
b. Sony: Vita had a slow start, but new PS4 strategy brings interconnectivity between hardware. Will it spur consumers to get a vita, or is it not enough to grab a share in the handheld market?
c. Microsoft: Smartglass take advantage of already existing devices, adds incentive to those who already have the devices. But how does Smartglass really add to the experience? Is it a new dimension of interaction, or just a parlor trick?
d. Last of all… IS A SECOND SCREEN WORTH IT?

3. 2 Months Left, So what’s the Difference: Xbox One vs. PS4
a. Xbox One announced, added with a CPU increase to 1.75 Ghz. Compared to PS4?
b. PS4 has 8 GBS DDR 5, Xbox One 8 GBS DDR 3… What’s the difference?
c. After all the retractions, how similar are the two consoles?
d. Which one to pick? Depends on your needs and desires. It’s not an arms race anymore!

4. Down But Far from Out: Nintendo is Still in the Race
a. Can Nintendo compete in a launch year without a launch console? Absolutely!
b. Pikmin 3 last month, Wonderful 101 this month, Zelda: Wind Waker HD remake, Pokemon X and Y, Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, New Donkey Kong Country… Software is the key to building hardware sales numbers.
c. Having said that… Wii U is still underpowered compared to PS4 and Xbox One, AND PS3 and 360. Can innovation sustain Nintendo in the years to come? What of 3rd party support?
d. As of this Summer, Nintendo was sitting on $6+ billion in reserve. They’re not going anywhere, but what will they do if the Wii U does not succeed how the Wii or DS did?
