Losing The Signal; MHOX

Hour one: Losing The Signal.  Sean Silcoff, Journalist for the Globe and Mail.

Losing the Signal is a riveting story of a company that toppled global giants before succumbing to the ruthlessly competitive forces of Silicon Valley. This is not a conventional tale of modern business failure by fraud and greed.

Hour two: MHOX. Filippo Nassetti, MHOX partner and lead designer, Communication manager.

MHOX is a product design studio. They work with companies and brands to innovate their products and communication, providing services of industrial design, product communication, research and development. MHOX began as a research group focusing on generative design and 3D printing technologies for the design of innovative wearable products, and evolved into a more general design consultancy. Since 2012 they deliver both disruptive concepts and commercial products for the fashion and medical industry, from masks to prostheses, fashion accessories to orthoses, bracelets to EYEs.  A reflection on the human body, its symbiosis with technology, its evolution in possible futures is central to MHOX work. Wearable products are body extensions, objects or systems that integrate the human body to mutate its aesthetic and functional potential, and this concept is constantly brought to its limit.
