Hitcase Review, Wide/Superwide/Macro Lenses

Hitcase Review

Hitcase is a company leading the industry in protective phone gear, cases, and lenses. Not many people have considered that lenses would be an option for an iPhone. Obviously, we all use our cameras built into our smartphones daily. Some more than others. But still, the default options are rather limited. And the ability to add another layer to your phone through lenses might seem too complicated. But I truly believe Hitcase has come up with a very simple, yet genius solution to this.

Enter their OneClip Cell Phone Camera Lens Kit that holds these lenses shown below. figuring out and installing the lenses into the clip was rather simple. The clip itself is rather sturdy, so be sure to work them digits out if you plan a day using it. Screw in the desired lens, we tested all three, and clip to your phone. We did have to remove it from the case to make it flush with the iPhone camera, but most slim phone cases should work just fine.

Wide Lens, pretty simple, but it definitely adds to the field of view.

Superwide Lens, obviously adding a lot more, even showing our old banner!

Macro Lens, using it on the box. Notice how it goes from very out of focus to super detailed. I’ve always had trouble photographing things at close range with the iPhone, and this may be just what I need in the future. Very impressive.

And of course, I focused on the iPhone in this review, but it would work with most webcams/laptops/phones and so on. The device you’d like to augment just has to be slim enough (about 2” max), for the clip to secure the lens. Overall, I am very impressed, and for $100, to be able to add an entirely new dimension to your device. I say this is brilliant!

For avid phone photographers, webcam users, or laptop junkies, this will bring your devices up to rival much more expensive hardware. The affordable and easy option to upgrade!
